Okay, so I'm knee deep in projects that need to be done for my house. Sanding, painting, installing floors, etc etc. Sometimes all that keeps me going is dreaming about how the rooms I'm working so hard on will be a place I can decorate all for myself. So I thought I'd take the time to share my ideas and inspiration with you guys. :]
1. LAPPLJUNG RUTA rug from IKEA // 2. Nate Berkus Ram's Head from Target // 3. Fork Adjustable Floor Task Lamp from Foscarini/Diesel Home // 4. Liberty Gray Throw Pillow by Stuart Lawrence // 5. Crosley Portable Turntable
I've had a heck of a time choosing my wall color for this room. I know I want a subtle blue/teal, like the colors above, but I can't decide on an actual paint color. I have so many paint chips scattered around, it's unreal.
I would really love to own this floor pouf from West Elm, but I'm way too poor. This tutorial for making a bean bag cube might save the day, though. Now I just need to find the right fabric.
This painted globe is so cute. I've been wanting to buy a globe for a while now, and its nice to finally have some justification for my search.
I was so inspired by this picture that I started collecting scarves right away. I have the perfect window in mind for a curtain like that.
I was given a set of mission style seating (a couch, a loveseat, and an armchair) and I've been trying to think of ways to change them to make them more my style. This board is a collection of some ideas that I've got. Do you have any inspiration for me?
And since that couch has a lot of wood surfaces, I've been looking into throw pillows. This board on pinterest practically ensures that I will only have the prettiest of pillow fights.
